Reflection SEP Second Week

School experience program in second week is awesome, why? Because second week, my partner and I started to teach. Before teach my partner and I consult about the lesson plan. We got three times to teach so must prepare the material for three meeting and lesson plan.

We design lesson plan with the active activity like made group, two stay three stray, round robin, etc but our master teacher cannot accept, she worried we cannot handle the class. Honestly I’m disappointed because I think class so quite if the activity just lecturer without discuss, games etc. as a junior we just agree with our master teacher and we think again and be creative how to make class not quite although we just lecturer.

Monday 22 October 28, 2012 we started to first teach. We teach about the probability, we teach eleven social three (XI IPS 3). I think the students very nice, they are respect with my partner and I. in this class we try to be the best, we try to make the class not bored and the students felt happy. After this class we gave our student paper, and they must write reflection what they learn today. And thanks to God from the student reflection we know our first teaching not bad. Thanks a lot to my students they can be cooperative and help our so much.

Second day my partner and I ready to teach XI IPS 3 but because something, in second day we not teach we just observe the students and give the students some question and discuss together. We not teach in this day because our master teacher cannot observe our teaching because she want went to another place so we just review the last material and did exercise. Because review and the students have understood about the material, my partner and I gave students games. They felt happy the last session we gave they paper to and in this paper they must write emoticon which draw they felling and I’m so happy because most of student draw smile emoticon.

Third day we teaching XI IPA 3 again before teach we discuss about lesson plan and for third day our master teacher accept me to make a group but the members of the group just only two or four students and without move, I’m still confused how to make affective group so we just make group two people in one group, we teach about probability again but I think the material today is so many than the material in first day but we try to be better. And maybe time management is not good some the material we cannot teach because the time is over. I felt sad and disappointed but I had trying. After that we discuss with master teacher and she give me support and she said our teach was good and she felt happy because we the students at third semester already can teach the senior high school and she said reasonable if there is a less but that is learn. I felt happy hear that.

Fourth day we not teach, we just discuss with master teacher and master teacher give our score as we school experience program in here. From the score I think not bad but I hope in next semester I can be better and learn again. From school experience program in this semester I learn so lot as like how to manage time; the material, class and students activity and I believe what we learn at now can be useful for me as the mathematics teacher candidate in the future.
